Confused About Varying Daily Duties

Dear Holly,
I am a bit confused about how to record daily jobs that change. Some days I have exercise and other days I don't. I can't seem to find a way to keep my schedule on a single page. Any ideas?

OK - I will try again to post this comment! I've ben trying and trying!

My friend Diane has very different schedules on a couple of days a week, so for these instances, she writes up completely different schedules for these days. That is Option 1

Myself, I too like everything nice and neat on one page, so I tend to split up the time slot if necessary, on a single page - Option 2:

For example
My 9 am time slot looks like this:

M/T/Fr/Sun Mass
W/TH Prayers and Religion class with Kids

Note that I have nothing referenced for Saturday, because Saturday is a free day in my books and I only do basic morning prayer upon rising, spiritual reading sometime throughout the day and rosary/prayer in the pm with my family. Otherwise, Saturday is unscheduled.

Another thing you can do, Option 3, is provide an choice in certain time slots -

ex: 6:30 exercise - Curves or aerobics

or

1:30 - Appointments, Garden, Homeschool marking, houseclean project... etc. This option works very well with non-daily things and serves as a reminder of things you COULD do while you're wandering around the house wondering what to do with yourself...

This provides a number of choices for you
