Similar MROL Resource for Dads?
Dear Holly,
I'm beginning to make changes in my stay-at-home life since reading your book. My husband is excited for me, but he would love a resource/book to help inspire him as your book did to me. Do have any recommendations? He's facing challenges every day in the work force. He's trying to get himself organized with his real estate career while strengthening his roles as husband and father. If you have any ideas that can help get him started, we would appreciate it!

First off, I am glad A Mother's Rule has been of some benefit to you in your mothering - that is the highest compliment of all! So thank you! :-)
Secondly, I think it's important to take note that the 5 Ps correspond to the priorities of the married vocation - for both husband and wife. The basic questions laid out in A Mother's Rule of Life can be equally applied to the husband as well as the wife, and there are many men who have devised their own rule of life based on it.
At the same time, there would be other more male related areas in the 5th P Provider section of course, which would be more specific to your husband's work, but the essential ordering of one's life in relation to the 5 Ps is applicable to both Mom and Dad.
That being said, I have asked around and simply do not know of a resource similar to MROL for Dads - altho ideas like Dave Durant's "Time Management for Catholics" (Sophia) may address the organizational aspect of working life... And as for the discussion of the father's role/vocation, perhaps this website's readers may have some recommendations?
Hey! A friend of mine just wrote me about a super new book out - "Spirituality at Work" by Gregory Pierce - I haven't read it, but she said it was super! It sounds like what you might be looking for , for your husband
